Residential Dementia Care
Here at Pinnacle Care, we provide exemplary residential dementia care for adults over the age of 30 both on a long-term or respite basis in six beautiful homes around Rugby. Three of our homes provide specialist care exclusively to over 55's living with dementia, while a further 2 - Wolston Grange and Elmhurst - offer care for the Over 30's living with early-onset dementia, including Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome (alcohol-related dementia) or acquired brain injury. Both Wolston and Elmhurst also provide specialist care for those with additional mental health needs alongside dementia. We're also proud to offer Day Care at many of our homes as part of our Pinnacle Care Day Club which offers all the benefits of our Residential Care, while allowing residents to maintain the independence of living at home. Transport to and from your home is also available 24 hours a day.
The philosophy of person-centred care is realised in all homes. We understand that each resident is unique and believe it is our duty to understand and respect these differences. Some residents enjoy keeping busy and active, and for this we provide daily activities - including visits from Mick the Music Man and Creative Mobility - outings and celebrations. For others, a more relaxed lifestyle suits, and for this we provide 'reminiscence sessions', film nights and pyjama days. Some do prefer to keep to themselves and this is something we also respect; residents are free to come and go as they please anywhere in the home and gardens - except private bedrooms - and are accompanied on walks to the shops or park. We also encourage residents to personalise their own space; bring photos, ornaments and other personal belongings, after all it is their home!
Each home is unique in its location, building and atmosphere, while all providing exemplary care up to and beyond the Pinnacle Care Standard. Click here to find out more about each home.
Elmhurst Assisted Living, in the centre of Rugby, also offers studio apartments to rent either as an individual or a couple. Domicilliary dementia care is provided as part of a personalised care package, if required, which is adapted to suit individual requirements, so you can receive just the level of care that you need.
