Elmhurst Care Facility
Elmhurst Care Facility
Elmhurst - Mental Health Care in Rugby, Warwickshire
Elmhurst is a luxury home comprising 10 bedrooms and specialising in supporting adults of all ages with complex mental health needs. The Grade II listed building was beautifully renovated in 2008 by Pinnacle Care, maintaining the historic features of the property whilst incorporating the modern luxuries that you would come to expect from a high-quality care home.
Elmhurst prides itself on its reputation within Warwickshire as first choice when it comes to complex mental health care. Its limited capacity of 10 rooms facilitates a highly personalised care experience with one-to-one support where needed and significant focus on enhancing daily living skills.
Elmhurst is able to meet the needs of almost all complex mental health diagnoses and is able to provide a short term or permanent home to residents who are looking to take a step towards community and independent living with access to plenty of local amenities such as leisure centres, parks, shops and job/volunteer opportunities.

Choosing the Right Placement
Deciding on a placement for a person living with mental health needs can be very difficult, but Registered Manager Sharon Adnitt has a wealth of experience to make this experience as easy as possible, in order to determine if Elmhurst is suitable for a prospective resident. This begins with a thorough assessment process, including an on-site visit to Elmhurst beforehand. This allows the prospective resident to be certain that Elmhurst is the right home for them.

Meet the Head of Care
Hello, my name is Anne-Marie, and I am the Acting Head Of Care at Elmhurst. I’ve been working in the care sector since 2012. My career started in Domiciliary Care, before transitioning into Residential Dementia Care and joining the Pinnacle Care Family in 2017. I was given the opportunity to train in Mental Health Care and joined Elmhurst in 2021. With my background spanning a variety of Health Care Sectors, and currently working towards a Level 5 Diploma Qualification in Health and Social Care, I feel well-placed to support those living with us at Elmhurst to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives while rehabilitating.
