The Red House - Elderly Dementia Care in Rugby, Warwickshire
The Red House is situated on Dunchurch Road in Rugby only a stone’s throw from the town centre. With only 21 rooms, The Red House is able to offer a level of warmth and attention to all of its residents and is one of only a small number of homes in Warwickshire to host an innovative ‘Magic Table’ which promotes health and wellbeing for people living with dementia.

Life at the Red House
The Red House is unique to many other care homes in that it offers just 21 rooms. This enables the home and staff at Red House to resemble a family environment in that all its staff and residents share a close relationship. Of course, staff are trained to a high level to understand the care needs of older people living with dementia, but the values of Pinnacle Care push this further.
When a new resident comes to The Red House, all staff take the time to get to know them. This includes understanding their daily preferences, their likes and dislikes, even where a resident might find it difficult to convey this themselves. Very quickly, staff learn and accommodate these preferences throughout the day. This means residents can be facilitated to live the way they would at home: from what time they wake up and go to sleep, when and what they eat, how they spend their free time. Ultimately, The Red House allows residents to live how they would at home, in a safe and friendly environment.
If you are looking for somewhere that can enable your relative to live life like they would at their own home, then The Red House may be perfect for you. For more information call our Manager, Connah, who will be able to tell you more about what makes The Red House a unique care home in Rugby.
Meet the Manager
I’m Connah, the Registered Manager at Red House. I have worked for Pinnacle Care for almost ten years. I started as Apprentice Support Carer at one of our Sister Homes and have been Manager at Red House for two years. Red House is a home from home, and I am very proud of the team and the effort we put in to continually ensure the environment is warm, welcoming, and friendly and that residents enjoy their daily life. Dementia Care is what I am passionate about, ensuring a person lives well with Dementia and that their physical, spiritual, and mental health needs are met by consistently providing care and support to the highest standard. I am always looking for ways to improve our home and we have recently finished several projects to benefit residents and staff. Any suggestions are welcome. In my downtime I like home renovation, cooking and spending time with my partner and dogs. If you have any questions about how we can help or you are just looking for some advice, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
